There are many opinions about children’s use of gadgets: how much time they can spend with them, what content they can watch, whether it is useful or not, etc. These issues are controversial and often cause conflicts between adults and children. But as many people as there are points of view. There is no single right solution for everyone, but a compromise can be found.

  1. “Who is in the mountains”

This app will be of interest to parents who are engaged in the early development of their child. Kids will have an incredibly interesting trip to the mountains, where they will explore the world around them together with Grandpa Ivan (the main character of the game) and his animals.

During the game, participants will be able to learn the names of animals, memorize what they look like, what they say, and what each of them likes to eat. An equally useful element of this journey is that children learn to count and give simple, logical answers to questions.

  • The game has tasks of varying difficulty aimed at memorizing the correct spelling of letters, animal names, and forming different words from the proposed letters.

  1. “ABC Talk With Me!”

The app was created by Ukrainian developers in 2015.

Features of the game:

  • a combination of toys, such as cubes with letters, and online tasks;
  • has two levels of difficulty: at the first level, children learn letters, and at the second level, they form words from them;
  • you can learn English in parallel with the Ukrainian alphabet;
  • the camera of a smartphone or tablet recognizes a letter or a word made up of cubes, the program voices the word and displays a picture of the corresponding object or animal.

It allows users to combine physical toys with online tasks to successfully master the material.

  1. “Nambi”

This interactive application consists of several dozen mini-games of varying difficulty levels that will help young users learn to count in a fun way.

Features of the game:

  • excellent animated graphics and professional voice acting;
  • clear interface design;
  • The levels go from simple to complex: counting objects, identifying their colors and shapes, adding and subtracting;
  • parents have access to complete, detailed statistics on their child’s progress through the levels.

The game was created by a joint Ukrainian-Israeli company. The office of the designers who worked on the drawing of each character is located in Lviv. “Nambi is available for iOS and Android platforms.
