It is known that over the years, Siri has been improving its skills beyond English. The assistant is fluent in French, Russian, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, German, and more.

Who owns Siri’s voice?

Apple has long refused to comment on this issue. This continued until 2013. It was then that certain events took place that forced the company to explain the information disseminated in the media, namely, to deny it in every possible way.

Susan Bennett, a singer who has done voiceovers for answering machines and worked with Delta Airlines, said that it is her voice that Siri uses.

After that, an updated version of the assistant was released, which spoke in a different voice.

Customize Siri voice settings

From the very beginning, Siri spoke only in a female voice, but now it is known that after the release of the 6th beta of iOS 14.5, users will be able to choose between a female and two male voices. However, such a change is only possible for people who have chosen English as their default language.

How do I change my voice to one of the two new ones?

• Install the sixth beta version of iOS 14.5.
• Go to Settings in the Settings category and select Siri and Search.
• In the Settings, in the Language category, select English (USA).
• Next, you will see a list of votes to choose from. There are 4 of them in total, where 2 and 3 are new, and 1 and 4 are the old ones.
• Next, select Download and you can start working.

Queries that Siri can easily handle:

• monitoring the latest news;
• links of notifications;
• opening applications;
• play audio and video materials;
• easily set an alarm;
