Holographic zoo

Axiom Holographics is the largest manufacturer of holographic devices for various fields of human existence, which are ideal tools for presentations and new incredible experiences, as each of us has dreamed of since childhood after watching futuristic science fiction films such as Star Wars.

Axiom Holographics has opened a unique family entertainment attraction in Brisbane, Australia.

The essence of the company’s technology

Axiom Holographics

This technology requires glasses, screens, and a dark room. The glasses are tracked by their position, and the graphics engine generates different images for each eye watching the screen to visualize everything that is happening.

All these perspectives are combined into a single image projection – it looks like static on a retro TV, but each lens is a crystal frequency separator that filters out everything but the image created specifically for that eye.

This produces a 3-D image that creates the illusion of objects that seem to float in the air while remaining in place if a person moves their head or even walks around it. In addition, several people can view the same image from different parts of the room. You can also use a headset for virtual or augmented reality. They just have more disadvantages than the previous version.

“Holographic Zoo”. Description.

The holographic zoo has an area of 1500 square meters and covers:

  • two 20-meter-long “tunnels”;
  • screens along the walls of about 5 meters;
  • several smaller rooms with screens on all four walls.

Axiom Holographics has developed 25 different tunnel adventures:

  • African safari;
  • Arctic travel;
  • prehistoric landscapes with dinosaurs;
  • underwater environment;
  • nine situations designed as escape rooms, such as Dracula.

The zoo uses 4D effects that include a cold breeze and even some animal smells. Since the images are computer-generated, the company’s employees made some of the small animals much larger to get a new, most unique look at them.

This zoo also has a hologram bridge, a bridge through a large screen that is designed to make visitors feel as if they are crossing a 50-meter chasm, which can be changed to any other location at the request of the programmers.

In addition, the 5-meter room has about 11 different holographic arcade games for 4 participants, as well as several 2AS silkscreen projections in the restaurant area for people to take off their glasses.

The company’s CEO emphasizes that entertainment centers with holograms are a fantastic way to travel to places that most people cannot visit. For example, he is sure that visitors hardly know the true size of a blue whale, but when a giant whale swims by them in this zoo, they freeze in awe.

So, today, AXIOM HOLOGRAPHICS HOLOGRAM ZOO is open and functioning only in Australia, but in a few months, the CEO of Axiom Holographics plans to open similar centers in Japan and Europe.
