So let’s start with what we have now…

The American company Figure Robotics has introduced a new humanoid robot, Figure 03, designed to perform a wide range of household tasks. Its capabilities include cleaning, laundry, dishwashing, serving food, and carrying objects, which opens up new prospects for household automation.

The developers characterize Figure 03 as a “universal assistant” powered by artificial intelligence.

The robot is equipped with tactile sensors in the fingers that allow you to feel the force of pressure and safely hold fragile or slippery objects. Built-in cameras in the palms help to navigate in confined spaces, such as closets or narrow rooms.

The model runs on the Helix platform, Figure’s proprietary artificial intelligence system that combines computer vision, speech instructions, and action analysis. This allows the robot to learn new tasks by observing a person and perform them autonomously.

The Figure 03 is designed as a general-purpose robot and is suitable not only for household use, but also for industrial tasks in warehouses or assembly lines. It is the first model in the line to be fully adapted for mass production.

For home use, the robot has a soft textile cover with foam to prevent injury and damage. The battery supports wireless induction charging. These improvements can be of great help in adapting such a ‘gadget’ to the home ecosystem.

Despite the significant technological potential of Figure 03, the exact date of its market launch and its cost remain unknown. However, the functionality and innovative solutions presented by the robot already demonstrate the prospects for widespread use both in everyday life and in industry.
